Privacy Policy — Cloud Call mobile app
Last updated: September 2026
The Cloud Call app for iPhone and Android ("the app") lets employees of businesses that use the
Cloud Call platform make and receive their company's calls on their phone. The app is operated by
H3 Technologies ("we"). The business that gives you a Cloud Call account (your
employer) decides what is recorded and kept; we process that data on its behalf.
Who can use the app
Only people with a Cloud Call account created by their company's administrator, for whom the
administrator has switched the mobile app on. There is no public sign-up.
What the app uses, and why
- Your account details — name, work email, extension number and company, to
sign you in and connect your calls. Your password is sent only to sign in and is never
stored on the phone; the app keeps a sign-in token in the phone's secure storage (iOS
Keychain / Android Keystore).
- Microphone — to carry your voice during a call. The app does not listen or
record outside a call. Whether calls are recorded is decided by your company's Cloud Call
settings, and recording (if any) happens on the Cloud Call servers, not on the phone.
- Call information — phone numbers, times and durations of your calls, and any
tags and notes you add, so you and your team can see call history. This is your company's
Cloud Call data; the app shows it but does not keep its own copy beyond what is on screen.
- Contacts in Cloud Call — your company's customer contacts, to show who is
calling and let you search and call them. The app does not read the contacts,
photos or other data on your phone.
- Notifications and push token — so a call can ring the app even when it is
closed. The phone gives the app a push token, which we store with your device's model and the
app version. When a call arrives, Apple (APNs) or Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) delivers a
short message containing the caller's number and, if known, their name.
- Network information — your connection is used to carry the call audio; our
servers see your IP address as part of every connection, as any internet service does. We
keep the last IP address the app connected from, and your company's administrators can see
it, with an approximate city and country looked up from that address, on the Cloud Call
portal's list of connected devices.
What the app does not do
- No advertising, no ad tracking, and no selling or renting of data.
- No location, camera, photo or phone-contacts access.
- No payments inside the app.
Sharing
Call data stays within your company's Cloud Call account and is visible to the people your
company authorises (for example supervisors and administrators). We use Apple and Google only to
deliver the incoming-call notification, our telephone carriers to connect calls to the phone
network, and an IP-location service to turn a connection's IP address into an approximate city
and country for administrators (it receives only the IP address). We do not share data with anyone else except where the law requires it.
Security
All traffic between the app and Cloud Call is encrypted (HTTPS and secure WebSocket; call audio
is encrypted between the app and our servers). Access to call data is limited by your company's
roles and permissions in Cloud Call.
Keeping data
Call history and recordings are kept for as long as your company's Cloud Call settings say.
Signing out of the app removes its sign-in token and push token from the phone and stops it being
woken for calls.
Deleting your data
To have your Cloud Call account and its data deleted:
- Ask your company's Cloud Call administrator to delete your user in the Cloud Call portal
(Users → your name → Delete), or
- Email hello@cloudcall.pk
from your work email with the subject “Delete my Cloud Call data”, your name and your
company. We confirm with your company, then delete within 30 days.
Deleted: your account (name, email, password), your phone's push tokens and
device details, and your sign-in sessions. Kept: the company's call records,
recordings, notes and tags stay with your company's Cloud Call account, because they belong to
the business, and follow its retention settings. Billing records are kept as the law requires.
Children
The app is a business tool for employees and is not intended for children.
